What Is Shifting Hajj?
Shifting Hajj means your accommodation in Makkah changes during the trip:
Before Hajj (1–5 Dhul Hijjah)
You stay in a hotel in the Azizia district or outer Makkah area, typically 4–6km from Masjid al-Haram. Free shuttle services or public transport are usually available to reach the Haram for prayers and Tawaf.
During Hajj (8–13 Dhul Hijjah)
You move to Mina tents and perform the Hajj rituals at Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. Your Azizia hotel luggage is stored or transferred by the agency.
After Hajj (13+ Dhul Hijjah)
After completing the Hajj rites and leaving Mina, you shift to a different hotel — this time closer to Masjid al-Haram (typically within 500m–1km walking distance). You stay here for the remainder including Tawaf al-Wida (farewell Tawaf).
